The Role

A great opportunity has arisen for either an experienced Band 2, an existing Band 3 Assistant or experienced personnel within the healthcare system to work within the acute setting. The role is assisting the Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapist working in both the ward and in the out-patient setting. This is a split part time (24.25 hours) position.

The post offers a great chance for individual development, working alongside experienced therapists.

The role will be based at the George Eliot Hospital-treating patients on an individual and group basis on the wards as well as alongside the Therapist within the out-patient setting.

Candidates require excellent written and spoken English, as well as excellent team working skills, adaptability and flexibility.

There is a requirement for flexible working as the service operates over 7 days and bank holidays on a rostered system

There is training on the job, alongside specific in-service training for Therapy assistants, along with individual mentorship to help with your personal goals-our moto being ‘Your Potential is our Goal’
