The Role

This role involves working 50% of your time within education and 50% within the specialty area. We have a vacancy now for this full time position.

Clinical Education Fellows are an essential and valued part of the Undergraduate Medical Education Team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust.

We are seeking an enthusiastic medical educator who wants to be part of a friendly and supportive team, which is constantly developing innovative ways of delivering medical education.

Help to deliver medical education in partnership with Warwick University Medical School, supporting our students on their accelerated 4 year course.

Successful candidates will be joining a Trust with excellent professional and academic links with the University of Warwick Medical School. You will be working within a modern and first class education facility, the George Eliot Training and Education Centre (GETEC), which includes clinical skills rooms, seminar rooms, lecture theatre and simulation suite. In addition you will have the opportunity to complete a funded medical education module as part of the Masters in Medical Education programme at the University of Warwick.

This is a fixed term appointment, initially for a period of one year, although there may be the possibility to extend for a further year.

Applicants must hold full GMC Registration and have recent NHS experience.
