Band 4 Senior Therapy Assistant- 1 Posts, Part time (1 x 20.625 hours)
£21,089-£24,157 per annum pro rata

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Assistant with Level 5 Assistant Practitioner Diploma OR with experience as Band 3 Therapy Assistant with relevant equivalent qualification to work within our team on medical step down ward, Victoria ward. This new and exciting role, with the emphasis on enabling patients to get home as quickly and as safely as possible.
This is one of two (Band 4) part time roles that will cover a 7 days service, working as part of the Therapy services within this setting. The role includes both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy support, assisting and supporting patients who are on the ward, following them through their time within hospital. The role also includes the involvement within out-patient rehabilitation classes.
The post offers a great chance for individual development within this field which is relatively new in the use of Therapy Assistants.
You will be working alongside experienced staff within the area-including therapists, advanced nursing practitioners and other MDT members.
The role will be based at the George Eliot Hospital-treating patients on an individual basis and group basis, within the hospital setting.
There are specific competencies that will be part of the training, alongside specific in-service training for Therapy assistants and individual mentorship to help with your personal goals-our moto being ‘Your Potential is our Goal’
